You may apply at any time to ESM, but be aware that all memberships are January through December regardless of when you join.
Dues must be paid at the time of membership registration. Dues do not change even if you are applying in the middle of the year. For members who wish to join between July and December, you can pay half of the membership fee if you pre-pay for the entire next year. Members who wish to join between November and December can pay for the upcoming year and get those two months for free.
ESM National does accept all credit card payments.
The local chapter accepts all credit cards except American Express.
Please download the application from this site and follow all of the instructions. Remember to fill out the form completely. An incomplete application may be returned for additional information and delay the activation of your membership for as much as one month. It is recommended that applicants send a copy of their completed application and their Primary and Alternate Representative's business cards to the local Chapter at:

Doing this will speed up your new member application process. Be sure to black out any sensitive information such as credit card numbers on the copy, and write the date that the original was sent to our National Headquarters. The information provided on the application will be published in the member directory and question responses will be used as a marketing tool for the Associate Representatives. At the very least please notify us at admin@esmphx.org of your future membership. New member packets will be sent to you within the first month of your membership. Renewal notices are sent out the latter part of October.

Associate Membership:
Applications for an Associate Membership are slightly different. Along with your application and dues payment, also send a $50 dollar application fee and certificate of business liability insurance. These are to be submitted at the same time to the local chapter at the address indicated in the application instructions. The $50 is a one time fee as long as you have continual membership. All Associate memberships are reviewed by the Board, which typically meets on the first Tuesday of every month. All required items must be received before the Board will accept an applicant's membership. Associate members may have to be placed on a waiting list if the ratio of Associates to Organization Members exceeds a 1.50:1 ratio. National Associate and Other ESM Chapter members are exempt from the ratio rule.
Associates are required to have a minimum of $500,000 in business liability coverage or E&O insurance. Associate Members are required to have a valid certificate of liability insurance on file with the local chapter at all times. A valid certificate of insurance will show the limits of your coverage and the expiration date of the policy. It must specifically show ESM of Greater Phoenix as a certificate holder and must name ESM as an "additional insured." Failure to adhere to this requirement will result in the suspension of your membership.
The discounts shown on the application must be specific. Statements like "reduced pricing" or "substantial discounts" are not acceptable. Avoid the use of vague terms like "no hassle pricing". The discount offered should be comparable to other discount/incentive plans that you offer. General public pricing is not acceptable.
